Tire & Wheel Logistics Associate – Elevate Your Career at DAG!

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping operations running like a well-oiled machine? At DAG, part of the revolutionary Downtown AutoGroup, we're not just storing tires. We're engineering efficiency, crafting reliability, and ensuring that our guests' vehicles are always ready for whatever the season demands. We're a community of skilled professionals who believe that the details behind the scenes are just as important as the experience on the showroom floor. Take a look at our unique approach and see for yourself!

Why we need you

Our goal is to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for every customer, from sales to service — and that means having the right tires in the right place at the right time. To achieve this, we need dependable and safety-conscious team members who thrive in a hands-on, fast-moving environment.

Our vision at DAG is to create lifetime guests, not just one-time customers. To do that, every part of our operation needs to run with precision. Our tire logistics team is the backbone of our seasonal service offering — without you, our service advisors can't deliver. With you, we're ensuring every guest drives away on the right set, every time.

Here's what you'll be doing

We are looking for a Tire & Wheel Logistics Associate who will play a vital role in the success of our service department across our Autoplex facility. Working as part of a dedicated crew, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and retrieval of customer and dealership tire inventory across our dealership locations. This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, organized, and takes pride in doing physical work with care and precision.

  • Tire Transport: Drive a truck and trailer to collect customer tires from our dealership locations and deliver them to our storage warehouse and return the right sets when needed on a regular and scheduled basis.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, label, organize, and track tire sets in our warehouse, ensuring every set is correctly identified and easily retrievable by customer and vehicle.
  • Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Coordinate the movement of tires in and out of storage in alignment with service department schedules, ensuring timely delivery to the right location ahead of customer appointments.
  • Safe Handling: Load and unload tires safely from the truck and trailer, using proper lifting techniques and equipment to protect both product and personnel.
  • Storage Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clearly labeled warehouse environment where inventory is always accessible and accounted for.
  • Condition Reporting: Perform basic visual inspections of tires during intake and flag any concerns — damage, improper labeling, or missing sets — to the service team.
  • Assist Service Team: Coordinate closely with service advisors and technicians to ensure the right tires arrive at the right dealership ahead of customer appointments, with no delays.
  • Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse and loading areas clean, safe, and free of debris at all times.

This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected. It is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities required by the incumbent. Incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as required.

You need these qualifications

  • Passion for the Industry: Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced automotive environment and contributing to a great guest experience.
  • Valid Driver's License: A clean and valid driver's license with a good driving record is required; experience towing a trailer is strongly preferred.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well as part of a crew in a physically demanding, schedule-driven environment, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable with extended periods of lifting, carrying, and moving tires, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage inventory accurately and follow labeling and tracking procedures with care and consistency.
  • Professionalism: Present a positive and professional attitude when coordinating with dealership staff and interacting with team members across locations.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions carefully, particularly when handling, labeling, and retrieving customer property.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings, particularly during peak seasonal changeover periods.

What we offer
