Are you a detail-oriented HR professional with a passion for people and processes? Downtown AutoGroup is seeking a skilled HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our brand new, state-of-the-art Autoplex facility in Downtown Toronto!

Your Role

As an HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in a wide range of human resources & compliance functions.

You will:

• oversee our recruitment and talent acquisition processes, including conducting pre-screening, coordinating interviews, and managing our applicant tracking system.
• implement and facilitate a consistent onboarding process for all employees, including conducting orientation sessions and coordinating required documentation/training.
• provide thoughtful support and guidance to our employees regarding HR matters
• work closely with our HR Director and General Counsel to prepare employment agreements, job descriptions, performance improvement plans and other related documents.
• participate in performance management meetings
• oversee and implement health and safety program
• assist our HR Director and General Counsel with administrative tasks and assignments as required

Key Qualifications

• Proven experience in an HR Coordinator role at a fast-paced organization
• Proficient in managing hiring processes and onboarding
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understand the importance of providing an exceptional customer experience to both internal and external customers
• Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with no demerit points
