Your Impact
As General Manager, you own the full dealership P&L and guest experience across all departments. You will set strategy, develop leaders, operationalize standards, and create a culture where every decision reflects our belief that “You are what drives us.”
Here's what you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating a team of Sales & Service Team professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. This role is ideal for an ambitious leader with a passion for the automotive industry, a knack for business strategy, and a proven track record in sales and operations management
Your strategic insight and strong leadership skills will be essential in leading the team, optimizing processes and, and ensuring the achievement of overall dealership goals. Your responsibilities will include:
Hire, mentor, and retain a high-calibre team.
Set clear goals, coach consistently, and enforce accountability; recognize top performance and address gaps quickly.
Model a guest-first mindset and a respectful, collaborative workplace.
Own new and pre-owned strategy, including pricing discipline, inventory mix and turns, days’ supply, and channel performance.
Grow market share while protecting gross and CSI; strengthen retention via delivery excellence and proactive post-sale follow-up.
Use weekly operating rhythms and dashboards to course-correct quickly.
Oversee day-to-day execution across Sales, Service, Parts, and F&I to deliver smooth handoffs and zero-defect processes.
Implement best practices for forecasting, inventory management, reconditioning speed, and warranty/claims accuracy with support from DAG head office.
Maintain strict compliance with OMVIC, brand standards, safety protocols, and all regulatory requirements.
Analyze CSI, reputation channels, and service drive feedback; remove friction and close the loop on issues.
Partner with marketing to activate campaigns, events, and owner loyalty programs that convert and retain.
Ensure our physical environment and digital touchpoints reflect DAG and Lexus standards at all times.
Build budgets and forecasts; manage expense lines and net-to-gross productivity across departments.
Strengthen lender, OEM, and vendor relationships to support growth, inventory health, and program performance.
Report performance with clarity and align the team around the right levers.
