Here's what you'll be doing

You'll be an integral part of our Maintenance Team, ensuring the smooth operation of our DAG Autoplex and other facilities. Your versatility and problem-solving skills will be crucial in keeping our environment in first-rate condition.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• Conducting light-duty maintenance of HVAC and other equipment
• Managing landscaping and snow removal
• Handling carpentry tasks including work with lumber, drywall, and millwork
• Installing, assembling, and disassembling furniture and shelving
• Assisting and coordinating with specialized trades as needed
• Maintaining air-line systems and overhead doors
• Operating garbage bin compactors and tractors for bin delivery
• Performing general cleaning and maintenance tasks as required

You need these qualifications

• You have at least 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or contracting
• You're comfortable working with various power tools and equipment
• You have general knowledge of construction and building practices
• You hold a valid Ontario G Driver's License and have your own vehicle
• You're able to work Saturdays or off-hours when necessary

It would be nice if

• You have experience in preventative maintenance of commercial buildings
• You're certified in specific trades or have formal training in facility maintenance
• You have experience working in the automotive industry
